oh for crying out loud

Morning, friends.

I'm so so so sorry I haven't posted anything good yesterday. Ace and Poppy contracted the adenovirus (so it seems) and no one is sleeping. Wait, I mean I'm not sleeping because when one of them is, one of them isn't, and both have temps of 104+ today. Oh. my. gosh.

I'm counting my blessings because while cumbersome, it isn't serious and I have two otherwise very healthy and delightful children.

But it also means I'm rather a walking zombie. I haven't even had the mental wherewithal to take one of the posts from my in such an event arsenal and ready it for print. This post was written at 2:30am with Poppy slapping the keyboard and trying to climb up my arm (which is actually rather brilliant).

Please accept my sincerest apologies. I'm sure I'll have a link fest up for tomorrow and then, God willing, Monday will bring us back to normal on this ole blog.

Because I have some fun holiday stuff planned and so much more!
