Happy 2013! We spent the last half-week up at the Hawk's cabin. The first full day was spent together as our little family of four before the rest of the gang joined us. It was the first time I've felt like I've had a vacation since our honeymoon. We lounged, lazed, and laughed the days away. I didn't realize until last night that I tend to get a little anxious about all the things I want to tackle the next day---and up north, I didn't give anything a though but
let's make sure we go sledding or
let's definitely make cookies before nodding off to sleep.
Here's a little recap of our time. Grocery shopping, snow play, decorating Nana's birthday cake, touching the Moose, reading, playing, and trying out a new headlamp...
Have a lovely afternoon!

In the pic (second from the last) Ace looks like such a BIG boy already!!! A mini man!! That's not allowed!! He's only 2!
ReplyDeletewhat a happy, beautiful family! it is so wonderful getting to see your family grow.
ReplyDeleteI agree about the vacation bit! I can't wait until we get to have one. We've done staycation for two years and it is almost more stressful because I am still at home stressing about daily things and cleaning, yet committed to spending days doing way more activities than we normally would! When you're not at home, life is simpler for a little while! Looks awesome. Love you guys.
ReplyDeleteLooks like an amazing time!! What a beautiful family :)
