housewalking : night light edition

We haven't posted a housewalking post in quite some time (at least 2 months). Today's post is a little different. Rather than the usual what-we-love-about-this-house, I caught a few images in the last 3 days of Christmas lights on Lake Drive homes.

Now, you may say, "Jen, it's February! That's ridiculous!" But I see it as evidence of good-natured neighbors not willing to part with the magical. And these two images represent about 5% of what we've been seeing around our neighborhood. It seems that quite a number of families just don't want to remove the lights. And with the world the way it is right now, those can't-knock-us-off-just-yet light displays are really lifting my spirits.
